Reusable wipes for removing oil, oil sheen and oil-borne contaminants wet or dry. The ADSORBIT Wipe is a reusable 38 x 38 cm square, wet or dry.

​ADSORBIT Mini-Surfer

A versatile product for removing oils and sheen in small areas. The flotation boom at the top, made from polypropylene, allows the Mini-Surfer to float at the water’s surface to adsorb oils, oil sheen, and oil-borne contaminants. 
  • Designed for use in sumps and bilges.
  • Has a grommet at each end and can be interconnected.
  • Velcro opening makes it easy to remove and replace the boom. Oils can be recovered by wringer or centrifuge and recycled or disposed of. The Mini-Surfer can then be laundered and reused indefinitely.​

ADSORBIT Boom Cover

The ADSORBIT Boom Cover is used in calmer waters for collecting oil and oil sheen from the water’s surface.
  • Use with flotation booms 5 inches in diameter and 10 feet long. Covers can be removed, washed, and re-used repeatedly.
  • May be purchased with flotation boom installed or covers only (great for replacements!).
  • Multiple booms can be interconnected with a 15″ overlap.

ADSORBIT Filtration Fabric

ADSORBIT filter fabric allows the virtually unrestricted flow of water through the fabric while retaining oils, oil sheen and oil-borne contaminants in the fabric matrix. Reusable. You can press, wring, or centrifuge to remove and recover the retained oils for recycling or disposal.

ADSORBIT Shore Guard-Dumbo Surfer

The Shore Guard “Dumbo Surfer” is designed for use in turbulent water and light surf to protect shorelines by capturing and retaining released oils, oil sheen and oil-borne contaminants. They can be interconnected and towed through a release to remove and recover the oil and oil sheen.
  • Constructed with 4 ears that are approximately 5 inches wide surrounding a boom gallery that accommodates a 5″ diameter by 10′ long removable polypropylene boom for floatation.
  • Webbing and snap hooks on each end allow interconnection of multiple units with a 10 inch overlap. Multiple interconnected units can be towed through the water for oil and oil sheen removal.

The Vault Maintenance System (VMS) is a staged filtration system in the form of an easy-to-use filter sock that will allow you to evacuate underground utility vaults directly into the environment.

Our heavy-duty double-layered socks made from ADSORBIT filtration fabric will filter silt, oil, oil sheen, and oil-borne contaminants from water discharges.
  • Approximate 100 micron filtration. Reduces silt levels in discharge waters as well as filtering out oil, oil sheen, and oil-borne contaminants..
  • Standard socks are made from a double layer of ADSORBIT filtration fabric; the SFS8-5SL is a single layer version of our regular SFS8-5 Filter Sock.
